Built in the historic fortress inside a defensive seawall, Las Bóvedas (The Vaults) was later used as torture chamber whose victims were chained and left to watch the waters rise around them at high tide. Today it's been converted into a stylish eatery, with highly arched stone ceilings and low candlelight. Expect French-influenced salads, shellfish appetizers, grilled seafood, and meats. The bar makes a good spot for a cocktail and light meal, and features live jazz on Fridays from 9pm.
| Ask your waiter to tell you about the history of the restaurant, he will gladly do so.
