Especially for bird watching the Pipeline road is world famous. But also sloths, capivaras, monkeys, and many other species can be observed. The whole trail leads for about 4 hours into the rain forest but it's a one-way trail, so you can turn and head back whenever you chose.
| Since a few weeks, public buses to Gamboa leave from Albrook Terminal, not from 5 de Mayo anymore as many guide books say. In Gamboa there are no restaurants nor shops (except the expensive Gamboa Rainforest Resort), so bring enough water and food for the day.
